How Small is the Hasselblad X1D?

Hasselblad X1D Compact Mirrorless Medium Format Camera vs Sony A6300 How small is the new Hasselblad X1D? Here it is next to the Sony a6300 with the Sony 50mm f/1.8 lens (75mm EFOV). The X1D has the XCD 45mm f/3.5 lens attached (35mm EFOV). The X1D sensor is 33 x 44 mm compared to the 15.6 x 23.5 mm sensor on the a6300's - 4X the sensor area. It uses the Sony 50 mp sensor from the Hasselblad H6D-50c shoehorned into a compact body with an electronic viewfinder. It is 2.5X less expensive than the H6D-50c - the X1D body will retail at $9000. Sony A7 Mounted on the Rhinocam

Sony A7 with Rhinocam (Ground glass removed) Here's a video showing how to mount the Sony A7 camera onto a Vizelex Rhinocam . The Rhinocam was designed for e-mount NEX cameras. Due to the viewfinder location of the A7, there is interference when the camera us rotated to portrait mode for 645 shots. This is resolved by removing the ground glass found on the Rhinocam. It provides a quick view for framing only and does not affect the final image. Sony NEX-5N with a Hasselblad 50mm Distagon via RhinoCam Photo by PCMag" The RhinoCam allows us to use NEX E-mount cameras with medium format lenses. The RhinoCam has lens adapters for Pentax 645, Mamiya 645, or Hasselblad V lenses. The NEX is mounted on a shift mount while the lens is fixed. The NEX is then shifted to cover the image circle projected by the medium format lens. Each image is then stitched by an imaging software. Here's an in-depth video walk through of the RhinoCam. Sony NEX-5 with Hasselblad 50mm Distagon FE

Here is didjeridoo_tom's Sony NEX-5 cinema setup. He is using a Hasselblad 50mm f/2.8 Distagon with floating lens elements via a Hasselblad to EOS lens adapter, then an EOS to NEX E-mount lens adapter. The display of the NEX-5 is produced on the Sony CLMV55 portable 5" monitor via an HDMI cable. The Hasselblad 50mm Distagon FE provides excellent color correction close up and wide open. NEX with Zeiss Tele Superachromat 300mm Lens

NEX Hasselblad XPan Fuji TX1 Lens Adapter

Sony NEX-5 with Hasselblad XPan 90mm f/4 lens If you are lucky enough to own a Hasselblad XPan or a Fuji TX system, you can now use those lenses on the NEX E-mount camera system with a new lens adapter . The XPan or TX lenses come in 30mm f/4, 45mm f/4, and 90mm f/4 focal lengths, which translated to 15mm, 24.5mm, and 45mm on the XPan / TX in panorama mode.
